Al Falah University was established by the Haryana Legislative Assembly by passing Act 21 of 2014 under the Haryana Private Universities Act 2006 as amended in 2014 and notified on 2 May 2014. Al-Falah University is recognized by the University Grants Commission under Section 2 in 2015. (f) and 12 (b) under the UGC Act 1956.
Al-Falah University is an effort of the Al-Falah Charitable Trust, which was running three colleges on the campus, namely Al Falah School of Engineering and Technology (since 1997, Grade A by NAAC), Brown Hill College of Engineering and Technology (2008), and Al Falah School of Education and Training (since 2006, Grade A by NAAC).
Spread over 70 acres of lush greenery on the Dhauj outskirts of Faridabad, Al Falah University has a 350 bedded hospital as per MCI/NMC norms with MRI facilities. It has all laboratory testing facility and PTPRC testing laboratory. All modern facilities including OPD, IPD, X-ray and Ultrasound test are also functional in the Image Center of the hospital including operation theatre. Al Falah Hospital was also a COVID-19 treatment center with a separate isolation ward.
The university has all the infrastructure for sports which includes national level cricket pitches and grounds which organize national level inter-university tournaments. Some of our students' players have been selected in the National Under-19 Cricket Team, IPL and Ranji Trophy cricket tournaments.
The Al Falah University campus has separate large hostels for boys and girls and a residential area for its staff and doctors.
